Collection of Information

At Bi-State Development (BSD) (including the enterprises of Metro Transit, the Gateway Arch and Riverboats at the Gateway Arch, St. Louis Downtown Airport, St. Louis Regional Freightway, and the Research Institute), we are committed to ensuring your privacy. There are sections of BSD’s websites where we may ask you to provide personal information, including name, phone number, email address, and such. We do not sell or exchange names or any other information about our customers with third parties. We may use the information to notify you of important functionality changes to a particular website, our services, and/or special programs we think you may enjoy.

If you make an online order, we may need to know your name, credit card number, credit card expiration date, and credit card security code (CVV). This information enables us to process and fill your order. We offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. We do not share any personally identifying data about our customers with anyone.

Google Analytics

BSD uses Google Analytics Advertising features to gather data and to help us understand how visitors engage with the website. You may not use any BSD or BSD Enterprise logo, the Metro Transit map, or any other content from BSD websites without express written permission in advance from BSD and/or the respective BSD Enterprise.

BSD reserves the right to alter and/or no longer provide RSS Feeds at any time without prior notice. BSD also makes certain data available in other data feed formats (“Data Feeds”). These Data Feeds are subject to the Developer License Agreements (DLA) that accompany their distribution. You should read and understand the DLA before using BSD Data Feeds.

No Automated Queries

With the exception of queries to RSS Feeds and Data Feeds, you may not send scripted, automated, or otherwise programmed queries of any sort to any BSD website without express written permission in advance from BSD.

Applicable Law

This website is created and controlled by BSD in the states of Missouri and Illinois, USA. As such, the laws of the states of Missouri and Illinois will govern these disclaimers, terms and conditions, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws. BSD reserves the right to make changes to this website, including these disclaimers and terms and conditions, at any time.

National Park Service–Fees and Security

Each adult Tram Ride to the Top and Entry-Only ticket includes a $3 National Park entrance fee. Entrance fees are used for the operation of National Parks. Bearers of the following passes are charged at the America the Beautiful Pass prices: America the Beautiful Annual Pass, Free Annual Pass for U.S. Military, Annual 4th Grade Pass, Senior Pass, Access Pass, and Volunteer Pass. The Golden Age and Golden Access passes are no longer sold, however, these passes will continue to be honored according to the provisions of the pass. Visitors must present their America the Beautiful pass at the time of check-in. If purchased in advance, the National Park Entrance fee portion of the ticket purchase will be refunded to the credit card charged within 24 hours of the date of visit. Ticket prices are subject to change.

As a Fee Demonstration Area authorized by Congress, 80% of all entrance and user fees collected at Jefferson National Expansion Memorial are retained by the park. The remaining 20% of funds are made available for use by all other National Parks. These funds are used for the preservation and maintenance of historic and natural resources, as well as for improved visitor services.

BSD is authorized to collect entrance and user fees on behalf of the National Park Service. Transaction fees charged for other services are at the discretion of BSD.

Visitors to the Gateway Arch are subject to search and to screening by magnetometer and x-ray equipment. Film less than 1600 ASA will not be harmed. Videotape will not be affected.
